Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week! I woke up to the news of an earthquake here in Washington. Apparently, it was felt as far as Olympia, but I slept right through it. I was finally able to catch up on The Handmaid’s Tale this week. I heard that some people don’t like this season, but I am loving it and I can’t wait until the new episode comes out. Harlots is also back, so I need to catch up on that too. Anyway, here are my favorites for the week.
Target Clearance Finds
My mom and I took a kid-free trip to Target yesterday. Usually, I feel like I’m rushing through the store or chasing after one of the girls, but yesterday we were able to spend a good amount of time casually strolling. July is one of my favorite times to shop at Target. Every year I try to get some Christmas shopping done for the girls because they always have a ton of their toys on clearance. I also found a really cute black strapless jumpsuit on the clearance rack and a pair of yoga pants for $4.
Did you see my post on traveling with toddlers? I used a collapsible utility wagon instead of a stroller and it made life so much easier. We also used the wagon to take the girls to a concert at the park. We carried the chairs and bags in the wagon on the way to the concert and let Finley sleep in it on the walk back. If you have multiple kids or just stuff to carry in general, a collapsible utility wagon is a great investment.
Melaleuca Roller Bottle
Over the 4th of July weekend, I got attacked by mosquitos and my legs are covered in bites. I’ve been using my Melaleuca roller bottle on them and it has done a good job reducing the itching. So if you’re like me and are always forgetting to use some kind of bug repellent, melaleuca is great to keep on hand.
I took the Immortalists and two other books with me on the plane to Illinois and only was able to read about 20 pages the whole time, so I’m still working on that one.
Mielle Hair Masque
I’ve had problems on and off with my hair for a while now. First I had some pretty bad postpartum hair loss with both of my pregnancies. Lately, it’s just been dry and unmanageable. I’ve been using this Mielle hair masque every few days and my hair is feeling so much better. It also smells AMAZING!
